Many of those who suffer severe food allergies also suffer from eczema. Eczema causes raised itchy skin anywhere on the body. Eczema can become so severe that it can cause skin infections and a cycle of sleepless nights with irritable days.

Our experience with this has been extreme.  Our little boy, Ronnie, has suffered from extreme eczema since birth.  He has had it all over his body.  He NEVER slept and kept scratching until his skin was infected and bleeding.  His whole existance was affected by the eczema.  His physical development delayed.  Socially he was rejected.  Emotionally, he was upset and behaviorally, he would act out.  He had a speech delay and took developmental therapy for his gross and fine motor delay.  There was not one part of his life left untouched by this disease. 

We spent our lives seeing doctor after doctor.  We used all kinds of products and medications.  Nothing worked.  Then we learned about a hospital that has a program for eczema.  We traveled across the country to go there.  It worked.  Now, Ronnie uses baths and wet wraps to maintain his skin.  We are practically medication free.
